Stone Eagle Winery
Stone Eagle Winery brings together tasting rooms, the Nest restaurant, and a series of event and gathering spaces within a cohesive interior design framework. The design focused on proportion, spatial shapes, and material elegance that unfold gradually through the visitor movement. Natural woods, softly pigmented Venetian plaster, and vineyard-inspired tones establish a grounded and tactile atmosphere.
Drawing inspiration from Italian traditions of winemaking and hospitality, the interior architecture emphasizes restraint and permanence. Carefully calibrated ceilings and perceptual spatial axes are key in the guided experience through the winery. Crafted metalwork, custom millwork, and commissioned art further reinforce the architectural language of the project. Each element contributes to a layered environment where interior architecture and hospitality functions operate in balance to support gatherings, tastings, and celebrations. Furniture and accessories were sourced by Design Agency, whose contribution complements the spatial framework and reinforces the material and experiential design intent of the project.
The Winery is the recipient of the 2025 LIV Hospitality Interior Design Awards, that recognize exceptional projects worldwide in the fields of hospitality architecture and interior design.
Hospitality Design and Winery Architecture
Stone Eagle Winery represents a contemporary approach to winery design in Canada, where architecture, interior design, and hospitality experience operate together. The project explores how spatial sequencing, material integrity, and proportion can shape the experience of wine tasting environments. As winery tourism continues to grow in regions such as Niagara-on-the-Lake, thoughtful hospitality design plays an increasingly important role in creating destinations that balance architecture, landscape, and guest experience.
