Adriana Mot

the program lead

Adriana Mot is a wellbeing strategist and the creator of Selftropy® and the Dochia Hybrid Method®. Her work focuses on spatial health, sleep, and optimized daily functioning within creative and construction-adjacent professions.

In parallel with running her design practice, Adriana has mentored over a hundred emerging designers across academic and professional settings. This long-term mentorship informs her understanding of career development, decision fatigue, and the transition from practitioner to practice leader.

Through The Independent practice and Soft Side of Construction programs, Adriana translates 25 years of industry experience into practical frameworks that support professional clarity, resilience, and sustainable practice—particularly in environments where cognitive load and interpersonal strain are high.

Developing Selftropy™ for healthspan, performance, and daily functioning

Selftropy is Adriana’s spatial-temporal health framework, informed by behavioral science, chronobiology, and environmental design. The methodology focuses on structured protocols and applied routines that support sleep quality, stress regulation, and healthier relationships with time, space, and work.
