Design inspiration from the streets of Italy

Marble is one of those eternal materials that can combine colours like no other. Textures, patterns, and strikes of chisels all form a family of aesthetic sensations that stay quiet in the shade and grow bold in the sun. As an architect and designer, I’ve learned this subtleness from antiquity, and I apply it to all the interiors that I design, no matter how contemporary they are. The courage to work with shapes, a hierarchy of colour and, most of all, the enticing combination of scale in detailing are the very aesthetic core through which people positively bond, unknowingly, with the spaces they cherish.
