How it works:
-
Select and purchase the service directly on our website. Pay online by credit card. Direct transfer and cheque payments are also available, with additional processing requirements.
Once purchased, you receive:
Process Map: A visual outline of the pre-construction and construction stages, with typical timelines, scenarios and limitations
Project Scope Form: Identify project areas, scope of work and requirements. Explore options within those boundaries
Decision-Making Framework: Identify who makes which decisions, when, and how decisions are recorded
Communication Structure: Establish how information is shared, reviewed and approved
Open Questions List: Organize outstanding questions by category before the worksession
-
Complete the forms before the worksession. This is your first iteration of the project scope and decision structure.
These carefully curated forms guide you through what needs to be considered before the project starts.
At this stage, treat all proposed changes as items to be evaluated rather than assuming some are minor. You can revise the forms as the project develops.
-
The service includes up to 45-minute online worksession, with some additional time if needed.
This is the second iteration, where we review and develop your homework together, resolve questions and establish the next steps.
An agenda with objectives is sent in advance. The worksession follows that agenda; it is not an open-ended meeting. Additional questions or explorations can be addressed through a separate session.
-
Following the worksession, you receive documentation outlining:
Project areas, scope and boundaries
Decision categories, responsibilities and timing
Dependencies between decisions and project stages
Change-loop steps and their timing implications
Communication and review process
Outstanding questions and next steps
Meetings are recorded, with actionable transcripts and summaries provided for board use.
The documentation creates a project record that can be passed to new board members, property managers and project professionals, reducing the need to restart discussions or reconstruct previous decisions.
-
An optional brainstorming session can be booked immediately after the worksession or at another time
